Project Overview
The project brief was for a fire alarm installation and a fire detection system as per the requirements of BS5839-1 L5 / NFCC V4, to protect from the risk of fire arising from cladding on the external wall and initiate a simultaneous evacuation strategy to alleviate the £2k per day waking watch across the site.
Sygno-fi by Eurotech wireless fire system with an Advanced 4-loop fire control panel. The whole installation comprised of 162 Sygno-fi by Eurotech wireless heat detectors with a mixture of Sygno-fi sounder bases and VAD bases within Core A.
Core B, C & D are to follow which will see all 200 homes within the 4 blocks protected. We designed the system to enable the end user to retrofit an evacuation system should it be required in the future once the cladding has been removed.
